MAYBE SOMEDAY

There is this thing called the coronavirus
It canceled my art class where we drew on papyrus
It canceled everything including school
I can’t even go swimming in my building’s pool

I can’t see my friends
Or get any books that they usually lend
It’s always in a newspaper or on the news
It really gives me the blues

Oh how I wish it would go away
Maybe someday
